HISTORY

In the 1990s, the tourism industry in Taiwan took a drastic uplift due to the sudden influx of visitors. As a result, many domestic enterprises began investing in the hospitality industry. As profound knowledge and professional skills are basic requirements for success in this field, many entrepreneurs looked to the advice of Mr. Stanley Yen, President of the Landis Hotel Taipei, hoping to learn from the success story of the Landis in creating a profitable hotel business. The Landis Management team was therefore established in June 1991, providing professional fine hotel operations management to heighten Taiwan’s overall hotel service quality, making it analogous with the world’s most legendary names and creating optimum products. 

Over the years, Landis Management’s continued persistence in professional, quality, practical and internationalized fine hotel management has resulted in a system of world-class hotels comprised of two brands – Landis and Hotel ONE – which have succeeded magnificently in promoting local culture and tourism. The timelessly tasteful Landis can be found in major cities throughout Taiwan and includes business hotels, hot spring hotels as well as resorts, while the innovatively chic Hotel ONE gives the same service philosophy a more versatile and modern look, becoming the first Taiwanese-owned contemporary hotel brand.
